Ohana means family. And family means nobody gets left behind.

Already planned as one of CBV Cares Town Center's signature fundraising events, The Island Way took on special meaning following Hurricane Dorian's devastation in the Bahamas. Though initial plans were to donate proceeds from the inaugural dinner to local organizations, the sights and sounds of those in desperate need in the islands struck a chord with event organizers. Tina Harp (Office Broker Manager) and agents Ant Stroud and Tara Braithwaite shifted gears, announcing days before the event that all proceeds would be donated to Hurricane Dorian relief. The results were simply divine.

Guests of The Island Way were treated to a delicious traditional Polynesian meal, with live entertainment by Halau Ho omau Ana I Ka Nohona Hawai'i, a local competitive hula group that Stroud dances (and competes) with.

Agents and staff from across Coldwell Banker Vanguard support myriad events and activities throughout the year; the love and care behind Town Center's The Island Way ensures it will be an event that grows in attendance - and in our heart. Mahalo!
